Automation Business Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Automation Business Analyst with skills in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) & AI automation to assist a leading tech company in driving automation projects across the business.

In a brand-new area with full support from C-Level execs, you’ll be joining a capable automation team and ensuring all initiatives are aligned & executed flawlessly, optimised for scale, and delivering results.

Salary: £43k-£48k + Bonus

Location | Workplace policy: Remote 1st - Once a quarter in office (West Yorks)

Day to day, you’ll spend about 80% of your time analysing and optimising business processes, primarily using Microsoft tools. While this role is more technical than a typical analyst position, it also offers a wealth of opportunities for innovation.

With a substantial backlog of ideas, you’ll play a crucial role in facilitating process improvements. This dynamic environment provides ample room for career advancement, with opportunities to progress into senior roles.

What are some of the key things you’ll be doing in this role?

• Evaluate the business and highlight areas that could be ripe for automation
• Follow the automation programme and ensure processes are all documented correctly
• Ensure that process scenarios and expected outcomes are covered comprehensively in user acceptance test (UAT) documents.
• Identify automation opportunities
• Develop business cases
• Analyse and design RPA solutions
• Create documentation
• Collaborate with teams
• Provide post-implementation support
• Collaborate with Automation Devs on solution designs
• Establish yourself as a knowledgeable automation figure that others can go to for assistance, help & queries
• Ensure process analysis work within timing & cost parameters
• Communicate with stakeholders and relay the business advantages that will come from your efforts

Core skills you’ll need to possess:

• Relevant commercial experience in RPA (Robotic Process Automation) & AI automation
• Up to 3 years in automation
• Experience handling automation projects
• Prior employment in a process analyst role or related
• Background in UI-Path or Blue Prism
• Comfortable engaging in two-way communication with stakeholders
• Experienced in Confluence & JIRA
• Written skills that can keep up to date with documentation
• Experience in business change projects and initiatives.
