Contract Architect

A leading player in the tech industry is seeking a highly skilled contract Architect to join their team on a short-term consulting basis.

*Based anywhere in the UK but must have flexibility to travel to Manchester and Copenhagen*

Day rate: £800 per day (outside ir35)

Length: 2-3 months

Project Overview:

We are undergoing a major tech transformation, consolidating multiple legacy platforms into a unified system. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a seamless migration of financial data and processes from our legacy booking systems to a new, state-of-the-art platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse complex financial data flows within the travel industry.
• Develop strategies for migrating financial data from legacy systems to a new booking engine.
• Design and implement solutions to ensure accurate and efficient financial workflows in the new system.
• Defining the overall architecture of complex software systems.
• Collaborating with development teams to ensure alignment with architectural blueprints.
• Evaluating and selecting technology stacks to meet business requirements.
• Developing and maintaining architectural roadmaps
• Ensuring system scalability, performance, and security
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in finance systems consulting within the travel sector.
• Strong understanding of travel and booking systems
• Expertise in finance data migration and transformation.
• Ability to analyse complex problems and develop practical solutions.
