Day Rate: up to £525 - £600(outside IR35)
Contract Length: 7-month term initially
An exciting market-leading tech-savvy organization that works directly alongside some of the biggest brands in the retail sector is seeking a hands-on contract Lead Data Engineer with technical experience in:
- Databricks
- Spark
- Python
- SQL
- DevOps/DataOps/CICD
- Orchestration tools
- Automated Testing, Data Quality Frameworks
- Data Modelling/Data Architecture
- Exposure to automated testing, data quality frameworks
- Data Migration Programmes
With the brand heavily data rich but without the technical expertise to fully take advantage, you’ll work closely alongside Head of BI and CDO to ensure the brand is fully capitalising and uncovering all you can from data whilst also mentoring some of the brand’s data engineers.
Great lead opportunity for someone looking to help headline huge technical implementation projects for the business including:
- The implementation of Databricks
- Creating 1 single data source
- Having one common data platform
- Ensuring cloud platforms are optimised, maintained and aligned with industry best practices
