Director of Professional Services

Here at MRJ we’re working with a global SaaS business (MS Gold Partner) who specialise in ops management solutions.

Off the back of a successful IPO (£120m valuation), they are now looking to expand their Services team globally starting with the hiring of a Dir. Professional Services. Initially, you’ll be overseeing an international team spread out across the UK, S.Africa and US with future growth focused across the UK and Australia.

Currently, the Professional Services team is a high performing team who all want to do a fantastic job for their clients. They’re recognised as experts in API work and all have great knowledge across infrastructure, network, server maintenance etc.

Responsibilities:

• Strategy: Develop and execute global professional services strategy.
• Service Definition: Define service offerings and best practices.
• Team Leadership: Foster a culture of excellence and improvement.
• Performance Management: Ensure high service standards.
• Project Oversight: Oversee customer projects globally.
• Escalation Management: Provide strategic guidance to regional teams.
• Client Relationships: Build strong relationships with key clients.
• Process Standardisation: Establish standardised processes for efficient service delivery.
• Product Alignment: Work with product teams to align service offerings.
• Integration Enhancement: Lead initiatives to enhance integration capabilities.
• KPI Tracking: Define and track KPIs.
• Reporting: Report regularly to senior leadership.

Skillset:

• High-Growth Experience: Scaled service delivery teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication and leadership skills.
• SaaS Expertise: Deep understanding of SaaS product implementations, integration challenges, and change management.
• Personality: Enthusiastic and engaged with a desire to learn and improve.
• Team Management: Experience managing distributed teams (preferred).
• SOW Writing: Experienced in writing Statements of Work (required).
• SaaS Management: Experience in a management role at a SaaS company (required).
• Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL DB, PostgreSQL, Intune, Citrix/VMWare, MDM, and other similar technologies.

The package is £90k - £110k + 10% + Fully Remote (Must be UK Based)

There will be some travel involved where you would be expected to travel to the US 1x p/year however there will be no client facing visits involved and you wouldn’t be expected to travel to any of the other clients regions.
