Your Role
As the strategic force behind a talented cross-functional team, you’ll set the vision, foster collaboration, and ensure technical excellence. While you won’t be hands-on coding, your expertise in modern software development and QA will be the catalyst for high-quality, scalable solutions.
From concept to deployment and beyond, you’ll own the software lifecycle—crafting seamless, resilient, and future-ready technology.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and develop a team of engineers, fostering growth through coaching and mentorship.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Hire, onboard, and support career development within the team.
- Oversee software development processes, ensuring efficiency and quality.
- Balance new feature delivery with operational stability and defect resolution.
- Leverage data to improve team performance and streamline workflows.
- Work closely with architects and product teams to align engineering efforts with business needs.
- Champion best practices in development, testing, and deployment.
- Facilitate technical discussions, code reviews, and long-term planning.
Engineering Manager - Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in an agile software development environment.
- Exposure to betting as an industry
- Deep understanding of modern engineering and QA best practices.
- Strong communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Background in C#.NET or modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with AWS and cloud-based architectures.
- Managing distributed or remote teams.
