What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own the frontend stack, ensuring high performance and maintainability.
  • Evaluate new tools and frameworks to enhance development efficiency.
  • Drive the long-term frontend vision in line with product and business goals.
  • Lead by example—coding, reviewing, and refining the development process.
  • Implement modern development workflows and enforce best practices.
  • Act as the bridge between frontend, product, UX, and marketing teams.
  • Translate technical ideas into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
  • Represent the team in strategic discussions, shaping the future roadmap.
  • Support the professional development of junior and mid-level developers.
  • Create a culture of knowledge-sharing and technical excellence.
  • Keep the team updated on the latest trends in frontend development and eCommerce.


Your Background:

✅ 5 years + experience in Shopify and HTML, CSS, Javascript

✅ Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks—bonus if you’ve worked with Hydrogen/Oxygen, NextJS, RemixJS, or TypeScript.

✅ Experience leading teams or mentoring developers in a fast-paced environment.

✅ Problem-solver with an analytical mindset and a keen eye for performance optimisation.

✅ Clear communicator who can bridge the gap between tech and business.
