Following their best year on record, they’re accelerating plans for 2025 and are on the hunt for a talented Mid-Senior Platform Engineer to build, scale, and maintain cutting-edge platforms that power innovative digital experiences.

Salary: Up to £75k + great perks | Location/Workplace policy: Hybrid working from either Manchester of Leeds

Key Responsibilities:

🔧Platform Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure platforms to support product development teams.

⚙️ Automation: Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments, testing, and infrastructure provisioning.

☁️ Cloud Infrastructure: Develop and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for optimal scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.

📊 Monitoring & Performance: Create robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high platform availability.

🤝 Collaboration: Partner with software engineers, data engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver tailored solutions.

🔐 Security: Apply best practices for platform security, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

📝 Documentation: Keep platform tools, services, and processes clearly documented for seamless operations.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: Proven track record as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role.
• Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, Bash, or Go.
• CI/CD Knowledge: Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Networking Know-How: Understanding of DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing.
