As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines on AWS. Optimise data warehouse performance, ensure data integrity, and enable large-scale analytics. Salary of £70k - £80k Location | workplace Hybrid (2 office days per week) with offices in Cheshire


Key tasks include:

  • Design and maintain scalable data environments using AWS technologies (Redshift, Glue, Athena,S3).
  • Develop and optimise ETL/ELT processes for healthcare data.
  • Ensure compliance with UK NHS healthcare regulations in all data processing.
  • Automate and streamline data workflows using AWS tools.
  • Monitor and optimise data infrastructure for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accessible and accurate data solutions.
  • Enhance and optimise data analytics tools for large-scale enterprise usage.
  • Document and maintain clear architecture and data process standards.


Key skills needed:

  • Commercial experience in data engineering with a strong focus on AWS technologies.
  • Expertise in ETL processes, data pipelines, and automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, and data performance optimisation.
  • Experience with big data environments, tools, and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
