Our international product engineering teams are currently ripping up our entire estate and building new brand new products focussed on UNIFYING our brands, TRANSFORMING the experience of our Guests and CREATING new tools for our owners and managers as we continue to change the travel landscape forever.

And as part of our transformation, we're currently looking for Software Engineers

Led by our Engineering Manager, you will join a highly collaborative international team responsible for the design, build, and implementation of our pricing engines which sit at the core of the Awaze platform.

Day-to-day you will:

• Work as part of a full stack product team responsible for building innovative products to ensure we continue to deliver optimal experiences for our guests and owners.
• Help to shape the overall architecture and tech strategy for the Pricing platform using the right technology for the task, rather than allowing the technology to dictate the solution.
• Contribute to driving best engineering practices such as CI/CD, TDD, cloud architectures and pair/mob programming
• Mentor and grow software engineers (grads, juniors and mid-weight engineers)
• Be an active member of the engineering and wider tech community within Awaze

We're looking for Problem solvers:

As the Point in Time Pricing team continues to mature our offerings, we’re looking for a senior software engineer to help drive best practice and help to shape the technical direction of the team going forwards.

You will have to opportunity to be the guiding technical force within the team, pairing with the more junior developers, and delivering software in a modern agile environment.

You will be working alongside other engineers and a data scientist to provide the best prices for our customers and for the business.

You will be working as a Full Stack engineer, with the ability to guide your peers on best practice. Experience with some (or all) of the following and an ability and willingness to learn would make you a great match to come and join us:

• AWS: developing and deploying cloud native solutions using Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Relational database technologies, such as PostgreSQL, including experience with query optimisation and schema design
• Non-relational database technologies such as DynamoDB or MongoDB
• Server-side development using GO, Node.js or Python FastAPI
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc)
• Experience with modern quality practices, such as pairing, TDD, BDD
