Tech Lead

We’re working with an exciting eCommerce client on an opportunity for a Tech Lead to join their team and make a meaningful impact on their development and innovation efforts.

This role is perfect for someone with a passion for driving technical excellence, mentoring others, and delivering top-notch solutions across platforms including shopify and more. You’ll take on a mix of technical challenges and strategic leadership responsibilities, helping shape the future of their frontend team.

What’s involved?

• Build and customise the brand’s Shopify stores using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Guide the team, mentor junior developers, and collaborate on UX improvements.
• Oversee frontend technologies, introduce new tools, and ensure efficiency.
• Align the team’s goals with business objectives and track performance.
• Work closely with marketing, product, and project management teams.
• Keep up with industry trends and share knowledge with the team.

Tech Lead – Key responsibilities needed:

• Highly skilled with Shopify development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid templating, and APIs.
• Familiarity with Hydrogen/Oxygen, React (NextJS, RemixJS), TypeScript, Chakra UI, and TailwindCSS is a plus.
• Experienced in a senior or tech lead role, with a focus on mentoring and team guidance.
• Comfortable identifying and solving technical challenges proactively.
• Clear communicator of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
